The Punjab School Education Department (SED) and Higher Education Department (HED) have dismissed reports that the summer vacation will be declared for schools and schools during a serious intensity wave in the province. In a joint assertion, SED and HED explained that media reports recommending that midyear get-away at schools and colleges will begin before June 1 are false.

All educational institutes in Punjab will stay shut from June 1 till July 31. Instructive activities will continue in the territory from August 1.
